The National Working Committee (NWC) of the African National Congress (ANC) will be in KwaZulu-Natal from Sunday, August 18, 2024, to Monday, August 19, 2024. The President, Comrade Cyril Ramaphosa will lead members of the National Working Committee in meeting with ANC structures in the province.

The NWC visits are carried out in line with the directive of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to evaluate the state of the organisation and functionality of local government across the country. The NWC will assess the state of ANC structures at regional and branch levels, as well as the functionality of local government structures in each locality. The objective is to determine specific interventions necessary for building an ANC capable of reconnecting

with communities to fulfil its mission of effectively serving the people of South Africa.
