ANC CALLS ON ALL SOUTH AFRICANS TO VOTE FOR A BETTER LIFE FOR ALL
- 29 May 2024
The African National Congress (ANC) calls on every voter to make their mark for the ANC so that we can all do more to build a better life for all, together.
Over the last 30 years, we have built a new nation, one that all South Africans can call home. We have worked together, black and white, women and men, to improve the lives of all our people.
We have shown what can be done when people come together in a common effort. As we face the challenges of tomorrow, we need to show the same spirit, determination and unity in building a prosperous nation.
In government, the ANC has worked with all South Africans, not only its supporters, to tackle poverty, grow the economy, build peace and stability, and improve lives. It has shown that it can work in partnership with all South Africans in a common cause.
We have achieved much, but a lot more still needs to be done. Working together we can do more.
The ANC calls on all parties, candidates and citizens to ensure that the election is peaceful and held without disruption, and that it is free, fair and reflects the will of the people.
Voters are encouraged to go to vote early in the day. Voting stations open at 7am and close at 9pm.
Voters are reminded to go to the voting station at which they are registered, unless they if they have already pre- notified the IEC that they will be voting elsewhere (Section 24A votes). All voters should take their valid South
