The African National Congress acknowledges numerous media inquiries regarding former President Jacob Zuma’s appearance before the National Disciplinary Committee.

As previously communicated, the National Disciplinary Committee session scheduled for today, 17 July 2024, is proceeding as planned. This session is being held virtually. We remind the public that all Disciplinary proceedings of the ANC are not open to the media and the public

A verdict will be announced once the committee has received and reviewed all representations. We cannot specify the timeline for this process as it depends on the scope of the deliberations and the issues under consideration.
