ANC NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO ADOPT 2026 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS MANIFESTO

The African National Congress (ANC) will convene a meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) to discuss and adopt the ANC’s Manifesto for the 2026 Local Government Elections.
The development of the ANC Local Government Elections Manifesto has been an extensive and inclusive consultative process, informed by engagements with various sectors of society, communities, professionals, organised formations, and ANC structures across the country.
The NEC meeting will deliberate the outcomes of this broad-based process and adopt the final manifesto framework, which will outline the ANC’s vision, priorities and commitments towards building capable, responsive and developmental local government that improves the quality of life of all South Africans.
