ANC SECRETARY GENERAL TO LEAD STATE OF READINESS VISIT AHEAD OF 2026 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS MANIFESTO LAUNCH

The African National Congress (ANC) will conduct a State of Readiness visit led by the Secretary General on Friday, 21 August 2026, at Riverside, Diepsloot, ahead of the ANC’s 2026 Local Government Elections Manifesto Launch.
The visit forms part of the ANC’s preparations to ensure that all logistical, operational and programme elements are in place for the successful hosting of the Manifesto Launch. The engagement will include an assessment of preparations at the venue and provide an opportunity for media to engage with ANC leadership on readiness for the upcoming programme.
