The African National Congress (ANC) hereby alerts members of the media to the programme for the final day of the 5th National General Council (NGC). As the NGC concludes its work, today’s engagements will reflect the outcomes of critical commissions, including the National Democratic Revolution (NDR), Strategy and Tactics, as well as the economic and social transformation pillars that anchor the movement’s programme of action for the next phase.

Media Briefing: On the Economy, Service delivery, Local Government and Social Transformation

This session will focus on the commissions dealing with economic transformation, social transformation, basic services, human development, and key interventions aimed at improving the lived experience of South Africans.

Presentation and Adoption of the NGC Declaration

The draft NGC Declaration, capturing the consolidated political, organisational, and policy outcomes, will be presented for adoption.

President’s Closing Remarks
