ANC SECRETARY GENERAL TO BRIEF MEDIA ON OUTCOMES OF SPECIAL NEC FOLLOWING SACP RESOLUTION

Members of the media are invited to attend a media briefing to be addressed by the Secretary General of the African National Congress (ANC), who will outline the detailed steps to be undertaken following the Special National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting convened in response to the South African Communist Party (SACP) resolution to contest elections independently from the ANC.
The briefing will provide clarity on the outcomes of the Special NEC, the organisational position arising from these deliberations, and further outline the way forward in managing the implications of this development within the context of the historic Revolutionary Alliance and the broader interests of the movement.
