ANC WISHES THE MATRIC CLASS OF 2025 SUCCESS IN THEIR EXAMINATIONS

The African National Congress (ANC) wishes the Matric Class of 2025 success as they begin their final examinations today 20 October 2025. These final examinations mark not only the culmination of years of dedication and learning, but also the beginning of further education and meaningful participation in our country’s development.

Despite the challenges faced by some learners throughout the academic year, our learners have demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination. Their journey is a reflection of the strength and potential of our youth, and the ANC stands firmly behind them as they take this important step toward shaping their futures.

Education remains a central pillar of the ANC’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive South Africa. As outlined in our 2024 Election Manifesto, the ANC is committed to:

  • Improving the quality of education across all levels, with a focus on equity and access.
  • Expanding vocational and technical training to prepare young people for the evolving job market.
  • Investing in school infrastructure and digital learning tools, especially in rural and underserved communities.
  • Promoting inclusive education that supports learners with diverse needs and backgrounds.

We believe that every learner deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we continue to work toward an education system that empowers all South Africans to reach their full potential.

To the Class of 2025: your success is our nation’s success. Approach your exams with confidence, knowing that your efforts are supported by your families, educators, communities and the ANC. And we look forward to the contributions you will make to our country’s future.

END//
