MEDIA REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR THE LIBERATION MOVEMENT SUMMIT, 25–28 JULY 2025

The African National Congress (ANC) invites members of the media to apply for accreditation to cover the upcoming Liberation Movement Summit scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 July 2025 in Gauteng, South Africa.
Convened under the theme: “Defending the Liberation Gains, Advancing Integrated Socio-Economic Development, Strengthening Solidarity for a Better Africa”, the summit brings together fraternal liberation movements from across the African continent for dialogue, strategy, and collective action.
The summit will be attended by President Cyril Ramaphosa, President Thabo Mbeki, President Joaquim Chissano. It will also include panel discussions, declarations, and a joint press briefing by the leadership of MPLA, FRELIMO, SWAPO, CCM, ZANU-PF, and the ANC.

The deadline for registration is Tuesday, 22 July 2025 at 17h00. No late applications will be considered. Further details regarding the programme, logistics, and press opportunities will be shared with accredited media houses in due course
