The African National Congress (ANC) would like to express its sincere appreciation to the diverse population of South Africa who took the time to either verify their registration status or register for the upcoming National and Provincial Elections. We firmly believe that the strength of our democracy lies in the active participation of its citizens, particularly through the act of voting. The ANC is both inspired and humbled by the immense support received by our dedicated activists, led by the comrade President Cyril Ramaphosa, in every corner of the nation.

Whether it was in the vibrant streets of Soweto or the serene landscapes of Kuruman, the historic Bo-Kaap or the culturally rich Thohoyandou, the bustling city of Bloemfontein or the close-knit community of Vingerkraal, the ANC witnessed an overwhelming display of support from South Africans across the country. This resounding affirmation from the people of South Africa serves as a testament to the fact that the ANC truly represents the aspirations and hopes of the nation it belongs to the people of South Africa.

We would also like to extend a special tribute to the dedicated volunteers of the ANC who tirelessly canvassed throughout South Africa, working diligently to defend our hard-fought freedom and advance a better life for all.

Their commitment and selfless efforts have played a crucial role in ensuring that every eligible citizen has the opportunity to exercise their democratic right. The ANC remains steadfast in its mission to serve the people of South Africa and will continue to work tirelessly to build a prosperous and inclusive nation for all.

The ANC recognises the crucial role that citizen participation and a transparent electoral process play in the success of the upcoming National and Provincial Elections.
